Love Dots
A little love goes a long way...and these itty-bitty bites are no exception!

What you'll need:
  • 1 bag DOVE® Brand Dark or Milk Chocolate Hearts
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 2 cups pecans, finely chopped (optional)
  • 28 mini paper cupcake liners
  • Mini muffin pans
What to do:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg, and slowly stir in the flour and (if desired) one cup of the chopped pecans.
  3. Roll nicely rounded teaspoons of the dough into 1-1/4-inch balls; then (if desired) roll the balls in the remaining cup of pecans.
  4. Line the mini muffin pans with the mini cupcake liners. Place one ball into each cup, and bake until golden (about 12 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean).
  5. Remove from oven, and place one DOVE® Brand Dark or Milk Chocolate Heart firmly on top of each ball.
  6. Return to oven for 3 minutes, remove, and let cool completely.
Makes 28 love dots.
