M&M’S® Crispy Heart
Cracklin’ and crunchy (and simply a cinch to make). Get a little help from your littlest decorators.

What you'll need:
- 2 bags M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Valentines Day
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 10-oz. bag large marshmallows
- Heart-shaped cake pan (approximately 9 x 2 inches). Alternatively, use heart-shaped cookie cutters and a baking pan (approximately 11 x 13-inch) for individual sizes.
- Non-stick spray
- 1 16-oz. tub white frosting
- 10-inch flat plate
What to do:
- Mix the marshmallows and butter in a microwave bowl. Cover the bowl with a piece of plastic wrap. Poke several holes into the plastic wrap. Microwave for 2 minutes or until melted. Add the cereal and blend.
- To make one large heart: Spray the cake pan with a non-stick spray. Press the cereal mixture into the cake pan, pressing firmly into the corners of the pan. Cool for 20 minutes. To decorate: Unmold the heart and set it in the center of the plate. Spread the top of the heart with the frosting, leaving a 1/2-inch rim around the edge. Make a single layer of M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies FUN SIZE® for Valentine’s Day on top of the frosting.
- To make small hearts: Press the mixture evenly into a baking pan coated with a non-stick spray. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter (any size), press out cookie hearts. Decorate the cookies by first spreading them with white or tinted frosting. Then, cover the surface with M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies for Valentine’s Day.
