What you'll need:
  • An assortment of your favorite Mars candies, such as SNICKERS® and TWIX® Brand MINIS, STARBURST® Brand FUN SIZE® and M&M’S® Brand FUN SIZE® Milk or Peanut Chocolate Candies
  • 2 pieces brightly colored felt, blue jean squares, or back pockets cut from old jeans
  • Stickers
  • Scissors
  • Non-toxic glue
  • Pencil, small ruler, stickers, or other school supplies
  • Hole puncher
  • Leather strands or yarn
  • Rhinestones, glitter
  • Printable template
What to do:
  1. Using the printable template, cut 2 pockets out of the felt or blue jean squares. Make a cuff on the top piece of material by folding over a 1-inch piece. Punch a series of holes along the bottom and sides of the pockets. Lace the holes with leather strands or yarn.
  2. Write your child’s name on the pocket, and decorate with stickers, rhinestones and glitter.
  3. Fill with an assortment of school supplies and Mars candies!
Tip: If you have a pair of old blue jeans, you can cut out the back pockets and decorate them with stickers, etc.
