Blow up a large balloon and cut a toilet paper roll in half and set aside.

To make the paste: Take 2 cups of flour, 2 cups of water and 1 tablespoon of salt and let the mixture come to a boil while stirring. Let paste chill.

Rip strips of newspaper approximately 2-3 inches wide and 6-8 inches long and dip in paste.

Cover entire balloon in two layers of newspaper and paste.

Let first two layers dry and repeat process depending on how strong you want the piñata. Use a hairdryer if you want to speed up drying process.

After newspaper is completely dry, pop the balloon and use masking tape to adhere the toilet paper roll to the top of your piñata to make a stem.

Next to the stem, cut out a small circle in the piñata and fill an assortment of your favorite Mars candies.

Cover the hole with masking tape. Poke two holes in the top of the pumpkin and insert twine through the holes so you can hang it up.

Use non-toxic paint to decorate your pumpkin piñata.
