Santa Sacks
Everyone get their very own sack full of treats from Santa!
Prep time: 45 min.
Difficulty: Moderate
What you'll need:
- 1 bag DOVE® Brand Smooth Milk Chocolate
- 3 12 x 16-inch pieces shiny satin
- Scissors
- Pinking shears, optional
- Non-toxic glue (or sewing thread and a needle)
- 3 12-inch pieces gold or silver cord
- Printable template
- Bright Ideas Custom Gift Tag
What to do:
- Fold the satin fabric over. Then, lay out the printable template, placing the template’s bottom against the fold of fabric. Using pinking shears or scissors, cut out three bags. Place the ’shiny’ sides of the fabric together, and glue or sew them. Secure only the sides, leaving the bags’ tops open. Turn them right side out, and press if desired.
- Fold over a flap at each bag’s top. Then fill the bag with DOVE® Brand Smooth Milk Chocolate. Tie each bag closed with the cord, and attach a Bright Ideas Custom Gift Tag. For a pretty winter wonderland look, place the bags on a runner of cotton!
Tip: Having a party® Make a sack for each guest, or buy ready-made fabric bags at a craft store. Place them at each person’s seat, with their name attached as place cards, or arrange them on a sled as part of a holiday centerpiece!
