Advent Pockets
Your kids will love counting down the days to Christmas almost as much as the big day itself!

What you'll need:
  • 2 bags MINIS MIX™ Chocolates for the Holidays
  • 1 box SNICKERS® Brand Nutcrackers
  • 1 box MILKY WAY® Brand Chocolate Crème Reindeer or MILKY WAY® Brand Chocolate Crème Santas
  • 6 9 x 12-inch pieces pre-cut felt or construction paper in holiday colors
  • Non-toxic glue
  • Hole puncher
  • Pre-cut numbers or markers
  • Pre-cut holiday shapes
  • 3 yards ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Printable template
What to do:
  1. Using the printable template, cut 4 pockets from each piece of felt or construction paper. Fold the pockets over, according to the template, and glue the sides only.
  2. Punch-cut holes in both top corners.
  3. Glue on decorations and numbers. Line the pockets in order, 1 through 24. Weave the ribbon through all 24 pockets. Hang the advent pockets from a mantle, a tree... from anywhere!
  4. Fill each pocket with a candy treat. Then, every day and starting on the first of December, your child can take a treat out of each corresponding day’s pocket!
Tip: If twenty-four days is too much, make the pockets for the week before Christmas only (six days)!
