ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 bars (1.83 oz) SNICKERS® Dark Bar, chopped
  • 3 oz. DOVE® 71% Cacao Silky Smooth Dark Chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons of light whipping cream
  • 3 egg yolks at room temperature
  • 6 egg whites
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of orange zest
  • ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Whipping cream to taste

directions

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 375°
  • 2. Butter your ramekins generously and sprinkle some sugar inside, discarding the loose crystals.
  • 3. Simmer some water in a small saucepan and place metal or glass bowl over the saucepan, add the chopped SNICKERS® Dark Bar and DOVE® 71% Cacao Silky Smooth Dark Chocolate to the bowl and stir frequently until chocolate has completely melted.
  • 4. Add 2 tablespoons of whipping cream to dilute the chocolate, slightly.
  • 5. When well combined, remove from heat but continue to stir.
  • 6. Add 3 egg yolks and stir until well combined. Let cool slightly.
  • 7. Separately mix the egg whites with a pinch of salt until you form soft peaks. Add sugar slowly and beat vigorously to form high peaks.
  • 8. Add 1 cup of egg white peaks to chocolate, mix well and then add chocolate mixture to egg whites. Fold the mixture until well combined.
  • 9. Add orange zest and vanilla extract combine well and pour into ramekins leaving a small ½ inch space for soufflé to rise.
  • 10. Place ramekins on a cookie sheet to make it easy to insert into the oven.
  • 11. Bake for 20-24 minutes. Or until the top has puffed up but remains loose.
  • 12. Serve with a dollop of Whipped Cream and a mint sprig for décor.
