What you'll need:
- 1 bag STARBURST® Brand Fruit Chews
- 1 bag SKITTLES® Brand Bite Size Candies FUN SIZE®
- 1 bag M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies
- 1 18-ounce roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 1 1/3 cups cups flour
- 3 16-ounce cans vanilla frosting
- Green, blue, red, yellow and green food coloring
- 20 12-ounce paper bowls
- 8 plastic knives
- 8 2-inch squares of cellophane
- 8 curling ribbon
- Printable template
What to do:
- Make the cookies in advance: Knead cookie dough with flour. Roll to ¼ inch thickness and with printable template, cut out cookies. Transfer to cookie sheet and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for approximately 15 to 20 minutes or until edges turn golden brown. Cool completely.
- Day of party: Divide frosting between several bowls, tint to desired colors and place around the table. Divide candy between several bowls and place them on table.
- Give each guest a cookie and plastic knife. Encourage your guests to decorate cookies in wild and crazy designs. Once decorated, set aside. Before the end of the party, wrap cookies in squares of cellophane and tie them closed with ribbon. Send home with kids.
