Take-Home Treasure Chests
Every swashbuckler sails away with a treasure chest of their very own!
Difficulty: Easy
What you'll need:
- Assorted Mars FUN SIZE® Candies
- Small wooden "chip" boxes or cardboard containers (Available in craft stores)
- Glitter
- Craft rhinestones
- Non-toxic glue
- Plastic necklaces
- Plastic toy gold coins
- Tattoo stickers
- 8 pirate's eye patches
What to do:
- Decorate the boxes with the glitter and rhinestones using non-toxic glue.
- Fill each box with an assortment of Mars FUN SIZE® Candies, necklaces, toy plastic coins, tattoos and one pirate’s eye patch.
TIP: This also makes a wonderful activity. Cover your table with a plastic tablecloth. Let the kids decorate the boxes. For younger kids, use stickers. For the older kids, use stickers, glitter glue and non-toxic glue to adhere the rhinestones. Mark each box with the child’s name and then set it aside to dry. Fill each one with an assortment of Mars FUN SIZE® Candies, necklaces, toy plastic coins, tattoos and one pirate’s eye patch.
